Our commitment to preventing modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain.
Our Commitment
Apex Business Development Group, LLC (“Apex”) is committed to preventing modern slavery, servitude, forced labor, and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain. We uphold the fundamental rights and dignity of all people and take a zero-tolerance approach to these practices.
About Apex
Apex is a business development and strategic growth partner for government and commercial clients. We support federal, state, and local agencies and mission-driven organizations with strategy, capture, program development, and operational solutions that deliver measurable results.
Ethical Labor Standards
We require lawful, ethical, and humane labor practices consistent with applicable laws and regulations, including the U.S. Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements (e.g., FAR 52.222-50). We expect our suppliers and subcontractors to:
- Prohibit all forms of forced, bonded, or involuntary labor.
- Prohibit the use of child labor inconsistent with applicable law.
- Pay lawful wages and provide safe and respectful working conditions.
- Maintain controls to identify and mitigate modern slavery and human trafficking risks.
Reporting & Non-Retaliation
We encourage employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report in good faith any suspected violations of this statement or applicable law. Reports can be made to compliance@apexbdg.com. Apex prohibits retaliation against any individual who raises a concern in good faith.
Oversight & Annual Review
Our leadership, compliance, and contracts teams oversee implementation of this statement, including risk assessments, supplier due diligence, and contract compliance. We review this statement at least annually and update it as needed to reflect changes in law, regulation, or our business operations.
